Roland XP50

Old? YES,..Trusty? YES...Dated?....NOT!
Roland's XP50 utilizes a great line of JV series expansion cards.
I have been able to produce exciting scores and synth sounds from this unit alone.
I highly recommed this unit as well as the JV series. In the 90's Roland had some
not so good reviews about being alil' tinty sounding, but these sounds
are really nice especially if you can figure out how to get in the menus to tweak the sounds.
The manual is like reading Kingon Stereo instructions, but once you get in, you can get some good sounds out of it.
I currently use expansion cards: Vintage, Techno, Voice, Sound FX, World, Orchestra 1 & 2.
